LAGCOE 2020 Energy Leadership Program
Open to all members of the Young Professionals of LAGCOE working in the energy industry or recently displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic, the program was offered from August 6 - September 3.
The program aimed to develop leadership skills, a better understanding of industry-related legislation, and provided training for attendees to become stronger, more collaborative and active leaders of our industry and community.
There were 4 sessions held on each Thursday in August from 7:30 am - 9 am at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette:
August 6: Progressive Leadership Through Inclusion, Collaboration, and Innovation
August 13: The Impact of the Energy Industry in Acadiana
August 20: Activating Governmental Involvement on the Local, State, and Federal Levels
August 27: Moving Forward: Energizing Your Learning into Leadership
Stay tuned for announcements about our featured speakers!
Participants were highly encouraged to attend all four sessions, as the information from each session builds on the previous week’s session.
Registration opened on July 23, 2020 and it was limited to 20 class participants. To learn more about the Young Professionals of LAGCOE or to become a member visit
