2022 LAGCOE Invitational Golf Tournament

The 2022 LAGCOE Invitational Golf Tournament was held on Thursday & Friday, April 7 - 8, 2022 at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Lake Charles, LA.

The golf tournament was limited to 62 teams filled on a “first-come, first-served” basis. The entry fee was $1,200 per two-man team and included a Thursday afternoon practice round, two rooms at the Golden Nugget Hotel on Thursday, April 7, and Friday's tournament play. A Thursday Evening Social, including appetizers and cocktails, was held at Bill's Bar and Burger immediately following the practice round and was included in the entry fee.

Fantastic sponsorships were available and allowed companies to be promoted during the tournament and on LAGCOE’s website and social media accounts.

12 noon: Practice Round Registration at the Country Club at the Golden Nugget

1:00 PM: Practice Round

Immediately following Practice Round: 19th Hole Qualification Round

5:30 PM: 19th Hole Competition Finals

7:00 PM: Thursday Evening Social at Bill's Bar and Burger at the Golden Nugget

Friday, April 8, 2022

8:00 AM: Bloody Mary Breakfast and Tournament Registration at the Chart House Restaurant (located on Golden Nugget's golf course)

8:00 AM - 8:50:00 AM: Putting Contest

8:50 AM - Opening Ceremony

9:00 AM: Shotgun Start - Tournament Begins at the Country Club at the Golden Nugget

At the end of the tournament, prizes were awarded to the top two individual male and female winners and the top two team winners from each flight.

This tournament was designed to be a fun, first class event. A percentage of the money raise was donated to LAGCOE's Education Fund to help award scholarships to high school students planning to attend college and university in Louisiana. The remaining funds were put directly back into the tournament to provide a high-quality social and golfing experience.
