Wednesday, February 05, 2025 | Acadiana Animal Aid Shelter

The Professionals of Lagcoe joined forces with White Fleet to support Acadiana Animal Aid on Wednesday, February 5, from 1–5 PM at the shelter in Carencro. Volunteers replaced fencing, took down the pavilion, and removed a small tree to help improve the shelter’s facilities. A few members even brought trucks, and thanks to donated equipment, the work moved quickly and efficiently.

As a bonus, volunteers also had the chance to spend time with the adoptable animals after the work was done. It was a rewarding afternoon of service, giving back to the community while supporting furry friends in need.

Additionally, the Professionals of Lagcoe will continue their quarterly volunteer opportunities throughout the year: Q2 will support WPC/Cancer, Q3 will support Hogs for the Cause, and Q4 will support Veterans. Stay tuned for these upcoming events and more chances to make an impact in the community!
