John J. Diagre of Lafayette was given the Lagcoe Looey title from 1987-1988. Diagre was a Gulf coast district superintendent for Edwin L. Cox, an oil and gas producer. His outstanding contributions to oil and gas earned him a recognition in the 1987 Lagcoe exhibition. He was part of Lagcoe’s executive committee in 1975 and board of directors from 1981- 1985. He was also part of the Lagcoe queen’s judge.
