Albert L. “AI” George was a graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU). He worked for Humble Oil &Refining Co. (now Exxon). While working in the engineering field, he developed and patented the Lamb Stabbing Guide, the Lamb Hydraulic Power Casing Tongs. In 1966, AI started his company “AI George Inc.” but later sold it to his sons in 1986. Geroge served in numerous professional and community organizations and supported the industry and Lagcoe as an Exhibitor since 1957. In 1989 he was given the Lagcoe Looey title.
