Don, as he was affectionately known, was born in Miami, FL and was a resident of Lafayette for over sixty years. He was a successful businessman in the oil and gas industry and founded the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association (LOGA) in 1992 based in Baton Rouge. LOGA has grown to include more than 1,300 members representing the interest of independent exploration and production and service industry. He dedicated the next thirty years of his life to representing the industry that he loved. He survived a life-threatening fall at a vacation home in North Carolina in 2016. He was a member of Lagcoe board of directors from 2001-2016. Although he is no longer with us, he will not be forgotten, his contributions and support to the oil and gas industry will keep his legacy on.
