Mr. Cornelius “Corny” Dupré II, is the chairman of Dupré Interests and Dupré Energy Service. Dupré was born in Port Barre, Louisiana. He attended LSU where he graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science and a master also in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor. While attending LSU, he worked for Louisiana Legislature and as a political consultant with Buddy Roemer. He ended up in Washington. working with the Carter Administration. He briefly practiced law in Eunice from 1980-1981. In 1982, he ventured into oilfield services with his brother Bernie with their first business, Dupré Supply Company. The Dupré Companies grew throughout the ‘80’s to include several companies, including Dupré Supply, Dupré Valve and Automation, Dupré Piping Products and Dupré International. Dupré served as a board member for several energy professional bodies. He is known for his philanthropic activities, and he partnered with multiple organizations to support numerous charitable causes for almost 20 years. `
