LAGCOE Celebrating the Holidays with an Energy Squiggle Contest

Dec 11, 2020

For the holidays, LAGCOE combined forces with the renown artist Aileen Bennett to host an Energy Squiggle Contest. In March, Aileen created The Squiggle Contest to help parents engage children at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The contest gained notoriety and grew to the point of having more than 60 versions of squiggles being entered each week.

As part of its Little Energizers Program LAGCOE will be hosting the contest from December 14 to December 25th. The theme is energy, but all submissions are welcome. This includes adults, children, and even pets as we have seen some squiggles from pets in the past. The winner will be selected from participants age 13 and under. He or she will receive a $25 gift card to Big Boy Toys and Hobbies, a local Lafayette business.

The deadline to submit the squiggles is December 25th before 3PM by emailing fumy@lagcoe.com a picture or a pdf of your squiggle. All submissions will be highlighted on LAGCOE’s website and social media.

The winner will be announced on December 22.
