Lagcoe Donates Portion of Roux Fest Proceeds to Miles Perret Cancer Services

Lafayette, Louisiana  — Lagcoe proudly presented a donation to Miles Perret Cancer Services on April 7, 2026, representing a portion of the proceeds raised during the 2026 Roux Fest event.

Roux Fest, one of Lagcoe’s signature events, brings together energy companies, industry professionals, and the community to celebrate Louisiana culture while supporting important local causes. Each year, a portion of the event’s proceeds is dedicated to organizations making a meaningful impact in Acadiana.

This year, Lagcoe selected Miles Perret Cancer Services, a nonprofit organization that provides direct support to individuals and families fighting cancer in Acadiana.

Lagcoe was honored to welcome Phyllis Weaver, Executive Director of Miles Perret Cancer Services, who shared with the Lagcoe Board of Directors the important work the organization is doing in the community. Weaver also spoke about the ribbon cutting of their new location and the upcoming Games of Acadiana, both exciting milestones for the organization.

“Lagcoe could not be more proud to support Miles Perret Cancer Services and the incredible work they do for individuals and families facing cancer,” said Fumy Rita, Executive Director of Lagcoe. “Their commitment to providing resources, support, and hope to our community is truly inspiring.”

Miles Perret Cancer Services provides essential services such as wigs, prosthetics, medical supplies, transportation assistance, and emotional support — all at no cost to the individuals and families they serve.

Through events like Roux Fest, Lagcoe continues to support organizations that strengthen the Acadiana community while bringing the energy industry together in meaningful ways.
