Lagcoe is participating in a Louisiana Economic Development Delegation Trade Mission to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, as part of its commitment to fostering international partnerships and advancing the energy industry. This mission offers Lagcoe and its fellow Louisiana companies a unique platform to explore new opportunities, exchange ideas, and showcase the expertise of the Gulf Coast energy sector to one of the world’s leading energy markets.
Representing Lagcoe, Board Director Brenda Stelly and Executive Director Fumy are joined by other Louisiana-based energy innovators, including Oil Center Research International, LLC (OCRI), Lift-Off Pipe Supports, Starr Power Tongs, Connection Technology (ConTech), GOM Energy Services, and Turbo-Chem. Together, these companies provide a wide array of energy solutions, from equipment and pipe supports to chemical applications and power tongs, highlighting Louisiana’s versatile contributions to global energy needs.
The delegation’s itinerary includes an exclusive tour of Aramco’s campus, offering participants a close look at cutting-edge advancements at the 4th Industrial Revolution Center (4IR). This visit, attended by key figures including U.S. Consul General Sindle and Foreign Commercial Service representatives, provided insights into Aramco’s goals and operational needs, with meetings held at the Procurement & Supply Chain Management and Environmental Protection Departments.
The visit also included a briefing at the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, where the Louisiana delegation met with industry leaders, Chamber Board members, and members of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment. The event provided a platform for Lagcoe and participating Louisiana companies to introduce their missions, share objectives, and engage in valuable business-to-business networking sessions. The Chamber facilitated informal networking and B2B meetings, allowing participants to build connections and explore collaboration opportunities.
Through this engagement, Lagcoe and its partners aim to strengthen relationships within Saudi Arabia’s energy sector, underscoring Lagcoe’s commitment to promoting Louisiana’s energy industry on a global stage.
