LAGCOE Unveils New Energy Leadership Program

LAFAYETTE, La. (July 27, 2020) – The Young Professionals of LAGCOE recently unveiled the 2020 Energy Leadership Program, set to kick off this August. The program aims to develop leadership skills, a better understanding of industry-related legislation, and will provide training to become stronger, more collaborative and active leaders of our industry and community. There will be 4 sessions held on each Thursday in August from 7:30 am - 9 am at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette:

SESSION 1 - AUGUST 6, 2020

    Registration is now open at LAGCOE.com/Events and is limited to 15 class participants.     COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

    At this time, the 2020 Energy Leadership Program is scheduled to be a live experience. LAGCOE staff is closely monitoring recommendations on city, state and national levels in regards to public gatherings, and will shift to a virtual experience, should the situation arise.

    LAGCOE has set policies to mitigate risk for participants of the Energy Leadership Program. However, there is no policy that can remove all risk. Choosing to attend the program obligates the individual to follow all protocols set by LAGCOE and The Petroleum Club of Lafayette, who are adhering to protocols required by Louisiana Department of Health.

    2020 Energy Leadership Program participants are encouraged to wear masks in all public spaces. Seating shall be assigned so that a minimum of 6 feet of distance between individuals is maintained and will be arranged in a way that allows for circulation and egress.
