Councilwoman Liz Hebert represents Lafayette City Council District 3, the seat to which she was elected in 2019. Over the years, she has worked in various capacities throughout the Acadiana area, the state of Louisiana, and nationally in the field of marketing.
Councilwoman Hebert was a member of the sixth and final Lafayette City-Parish Council. She was elected to the City-Parish District 8 seat in 2015 and served a single term. During her City-Parish Council tenure, Councilwoman Hebert gained leadership experience by serving as Vice Chair and as Chair of the Lafayette Public Utilities Authority. She has sat on the boards of the Leadership Institute of Acadiana and The705 Young Professionals organization. Councilwoman Hebert is a past president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana and past chairwoman of the Lafayette Junior Leadership and Leadership Lafayette programs.
Councilwoman Hebert is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and Northwestern State University. She truly enjoys civic leadership and active public service. Councilwoman Hebert is married to Aaron Hebert and they share two (2) dogs, Lady and Batman.
